"Life, viewed rationally and without illusion appears to be a nonsense tale"

             17 years ago, on the 12^th of August at 3.00 pm, one more soul was given life. Despite the painful labour, the parents’ happiness filled up the entire room along with the new-born’s cry. This is when my journey had begun. Life ,by definition, is the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual. However, by my definition, life means the gift the divinity offered all of us, along with happiness, sorrow, victory, defeat, love, hate and so on.

             Firstly, life is built up as a roller-coaster.  We are challenged everyday by sky-rising situations or by destructive ones, but no matter what we should always remember that both of them test the courage, the patience, the perseverance and true character of a person. Whatever may happen there is no need of dismay. Always there is the opportunity to creatively and successfully cope with the things that life sends our way. We learn, we adapt, we change, we grow up and day by day, we are building passionately for ourselves the road which may take us high.

Moreover, we are unique. Every single human life has its own path and destination. Thus life is a mystery that needs to be discovered with the help of dream, illusion and sensibility. Indeed, life may look a nonsense when there is nothing to fight for, or no goal to be alive for. From my own experience, it is an extraordinary pleasure to do something well that will set you apart from the rest of the world. And so, life is and should not be just a bed of roses; thorns are also a part of it and should be accepted  just the way it is. The thorns remind one of how success and happiness can be relative and thus, not to feel disappointed rather remember that the pain of thorns is short-lived, and the beauty of life would soon overcome the prick of thorns. There is no doubt that there can be no gain without pain. It is only when one toils and sweats it out that success is nourished and sustained.

In addition, there is one more thing that turns our lives into better ones.  Love is one of the  greatest gift we can ever hope to give and receive.  Love is the one thing that can overcome so many of the difficult times that we are faced with in life.  Love is so powerful as it can turn frowns into smiles.  It can help mend the most broken heart and It can even turn all of the ugliness in the world into the most beautiful portrait we could ever have the pleasure to behold. Some people spend their entire life searching for their soul-mates and barely think about the things they have already been given.   

All things considered, we can say life has plenty of both ups and downs. We shouldn’t be searching for perfection because that would be a sorrowful wasting of time and energy on useless matters. Instead, life, by all means , is to be lived as beautifully as we can.
